Comics By Me & Scared Santa Kids

Thanks to the proddings and pokings of my dear friend, Ariadne, I've decided to FINALLY start updating my online comic again. It's at a strip creator because, frankly, I can't draw. But it'll still make you chuckle, I hope. Most of the strips are based on experiences I really have. They revolve a bit around rednecks and how they feel about anyone even remotely non-hickish. Oh, yes. Hilarity ensues.

Riffraff Comic

Oh, and someone in a LiveJournal community directed me to this site full of photos of kids tormented in the presence of Santa. I'd mentioned how I have a photo of me, aged about two, totally freaking out next to Santa. Apparently, I'm not the only one who gets the heebie-jeebies from the freaky "jolly" one.

Creepy Wax

Sometimes, having no friends at all is better than having, well, THIS:
OMG! HE IS SO FIIIIIINE! WORK IT, BABY!

This is just fucking disturbing. Some guy made some totally CREEPY wax sculptures of people and babies and just, ew! Duh...I LOVE IT!

vonhummer

There's this local music artist here in Portland, OR called vonhummer. He has a show on public access every week or so, and at first he terrified me. He wears these strange lobsters in his hair, has a talking picture of an Asian guy, and his videos are like acid trips with not enough acid.

However, last night I tuned out his horrible videos and focused intently on his lyrics. The guy is awesome.

Vonhummer.com is his website, and if you go to the download page, you can get mp3s of all kinds of songs. The songs that made me a fan is "Tell the Gang on the Corner Not to Be Ignorant" and "Reality Ain't What It Used to Be".

He's quite weird/unique, and his voice takes just a tad getting used to, but once you get past his eccentricities, there's a man with strong views and a pure intention. If you like unique music, check him out. Good stuff.
