Dark Art

I am a huge fan of dark art in general. Thus, today I bring to you some of my favorite dark artists and websites.

Chad Michael Ward has done some amazing photography for bands ranging from Marilyn Manson and The Rasmus to...well, frankly, a lot of bands I've never heard of. However, that doesn't matter - the images are awesome. Be sure to check out the CDs & DVDs pages, as there you will find some amazing album and DVD covers he has designed - very wonderful stuff.

brittle-bones has some truly eerie interactive web-bits. Realistic, yet twisted and creepy. There's not too much there, but what is there is really marvelous.

I thought this was interesting - at carthedral.com you can view photos of a cathedral someone built onto a 1971 Cadillac hearse. I'm not kidding - check it out.

Novembre features the art of Daniel Long - very ethereal art, and the site layout is exceptional.

If alternative beauty queens like Dita von Teese are your thing, check out White Rabbit Studio. *faints*

I'll wrap up with something on the opposite end of things - still dark, but incredibly cheese-tastic and STUPID. Haunted Portraits . I'm not even saying anything about that one - just go bask in its lameness.
