Tickle My Pickle

I'm bored at the good ol' junior college I'll be out of in a grand total of...*checks calendar*...about three weeks. Thus, I googled for funny/hilarious/amusing blogs and found the following. Enjoy, my pretties...*cackles*

boingboing.net has random musings about various news items. However, gems like phrases you can't put on an NFL jersey, a pistol-shaped barbecue pit, Haptic Arm Wrestling, and MSN's Seven Dirty Blogs are quite amusing. I wouldn't say the blog is flat-out, roll-on-the-floor hilarious, but it's definitely an amusing joyride through modern inventions, gadgets, and happenings.

Waiter Rant is quite amusing as well. It chronicles the day-to-day happenings of a waiter's life, well, in a restaurant, of course. You wouldn't imagine such an environment would be amusing as all hell, but the way this guy describes it - it is. Very much so. A true riot!

If parodies are more your thing (I know they're generally what I prefer - I'm just easily amused like that), why not check out The Daily Ripper? Comic mockeries up the wazoo, among other timeless pieces.

Finally, to wrap this post up - can we say, INSTANT CLASSIC?! After School Snack is instantly gratifying and scrumptious.

Reading the After School Snack blog, I was able to find a site chock-full of really, REALLY pathetic pro-abstinence quotes such as:

"Hold up a beautiful rose. Talk about the petals and how they add color and fragrance to the rose. Hand the rose to a student, telling that student to pull off a petal and pass it on to another student who also pulls off a petal. Continue passing the rose around until there are no more petals. At the end, hold up the rose. Ask: Of what value is the rose now? The rose represents someone who participates in casual sex."

Also at After School Snack, I found an Italien design firm which sells, among other items, cow udder baby bottles, a voodoo doll knife holder, and an atrocious Dachshund CD rack.

And, of course, there are (though a few months old now) memorable classics such as a list of things to do before the inauguration. Though that time has passed us by, the list is - quite frankly - still highly amusing.
